Our holidayhome is situated in the centre of Holland, where it is a biker’s dream: hundreds of kilometres of curvy dike-roads along the river banks; the pittoresk villages and countryroads inbetween are waiting to be discovered...



Alphen is a small village (600 inhabitants) situated in Gelderland province, right in the middle of the Netherlands. Between Holland’s two main rivers: the county of the Maas and the Waal.



The semi-detached rural property is located in a quiet environment on the Maas dike, outside the village. It's suited for four adults.

The living/dining room (7 x 4 mtr) has two large sofas, dining table, wide screen TV with DVD player, books, DVDs, board games. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini-bar, fridge, microwave, electric kettle and coffee machine.

The (steep-) staircase takes you to the large master bedroom (20 m2) with a large double bed, from there you enter the second bedroom (10 m2) with two single beds.

To make your stay more enjoyable you'll also find bed linen, towels, glass and crockery.

The bathroom (toilet and shower) is on the ground floor.


Continental breakfast is included if you book for B&B.


On the premises is a secure space to park several bikes and limited covered parking place.


There is a restaurant / pub 10 minutes walk away.
There is a cash point and small supermarket less than 2 km away, in the centre of the small village.
